When famine hit Bethlehem, Elimelek and Naomi took their two sons, Marlon and Chilton to live in Moab. One of their sons married Ruth, a Moabite. Naomi’s sons died and she died she decided to go back to Bethlehem. Ruth vowed to go with Naomi. On returning to Bethlehem, Ruth went to work in the fields of Boaz who protected and provided for her. Boaz took the responsibility of a kinsman redeemer and married Ruth. Ruth 1-4
